The Rock Mission Trip - Day Three

Day Three

Block Party and CC Kensington Family Night

Hey Church! Thank you for your ongoing prayers!
Today we will help prepare for two events; a block party, which is a community outreach this afternoon to children and families and later this evening we’ll help with an even to encourage and bless the families of the church.
Your prayers for strength, unity, spiritual wisdom, and boldness will be greatly appreciated.
We visited McPherson Gateway Garden yesterday to pray for the first responders and missionaries that live in the town. It’s a hard ministry here to remain soft hearted. Be praying for those who serve Kensington.
I leave you with some words from Hector.

“Good morning church!

After Day 2, I am greatly reminded of the very real spiritual warfare and battleground that surrounds us, even here in our own homeland. We are seeing it live and in action, out in the open—a reminder that the spiritual battle we read about in Scripture is very real and unfolding all around us.

Yet, in the midst of so much sin, brokenness, and bondage, a place of refuge and rescue " The Rock " ministry shines its light—pointing people to the Hope and Freedom found only in Christ Jesus!

So we pray for all those who are here serving, and for those who will come after us and see the great battleground before them. May we remember the prayer of Elisha in 2 Kings 6:17:

«“O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.»

What looked overwhelming through human eyes was completely different when God opened his eyes to see the spiritual reality around him. The Lord was in control. He was protecting and watching over His people so that His will would be accomplished and His name glorified.

May God open our eyes in the same way. May we never lose sight of who is truly in control, and may we continue praying for those still trapped in darkness and bondage.

“This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:3–4 (NLT)

Please continue to pray—for those serving, for those being reached, for protection over everyone on the front lines, and above all, that souls would be saved, lives transformed, and the name of Jesus Christ glorified!”
