Anchored Fall Youth Retreat On behalf of Calvary Chapel Clayton, I would like to invite your Youth Group to join us for our, “Anchored” Fall Youth Retreat at Quaker Lake Camp, NC! This will be a 3 day, 2 night retreat. We hope you will join us on our 4th annual trip! Fall Retreat Quick Facts: Invitees: 6th-12th graders. Theme: Anchored in Hope - Hebrews 6:19. “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast…” This sure and steadfast hope enables us to persevere in the midst of life’s adversities. Date: Friday, 10/13/17 - Sunday, 10/15/17 Location: Quaker Lake Camp in Climax, NC. Cost: $60 per youth Cost covers cabin lodging, food, activities, supplies, bandanna and hoodie. Our Fall Youth Retreat will include Bible teachings, worship, games and other activities to build and develop unity with the Lord and with others (multiple Calvary Chapels will be attending). Our theme this year will focus on our hope in Jesus Christ. There are storms which threaten to drive us from Jesus - the storms of persecution, adversity, doubt, death, etc. Just as a boat's anchor reaches down to the bottom of the ocean and out of sight, the Christian's anchor ascends out of sight into heaven where it is there fixed keeping us sure and steadfast in Jesus.
