CHURCH BULLETIN

It's Summer Time!

Summer is here, and it’s hot! It’s not just about the heat and those high electric bills, but also about taking breaks from school, enjoying vacations from work, and participating in mission trips, VBS, and more.

This year, we’re excited to focus on family fun at the church. These are wonderful times to come together as families, youth, and kids to play games, hang out, watch movies, and enjoy fellowship.

Our Calvary Kid’s Ministry will kick things off with Movie and Muffins on Sunday, July 12. It’s a fun break from our usual Sunday morning routine for our kids to enjoy muffins and watch the animated movie “David” together in our fellowship hall during our regular service. RSVP HERE.

On Friday, July 17, we’re hosting a Family Game Night. We’ll have a variety of games to play indoors and out, including board games, ball games, card games, and games specifically designed for the kids. Come along and join in the fun! Food and drinks will be provided. RSVP HERE.

Sunday, July 19, after our morning service, the Hernandez’s are hosting a Youth Pool Day at their home from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Food will be provided, and rides will be available after service. MORE INFO HERE.

Sunday, August 2, we’ll have a Church Potluck following our morning service. I’m really looking forward to this time because it gives me a chance to chat with different people and hear about what the Lord is doing in their lives, as well as enjoy the delicious dishes everyone brings. We ask attendees to bring a dish and a side or dessert to share. There will also be opportunities to serve and/or clean up. MORE INFO.

Our Calvary Kid’s Ministry will be hosting a Back to School Pizza and Game Night at the church on August 7. The event is free! RSVP HERE.

This, along with our Men’s Breakfast and our Marrieds Ministry Gathering, offers plenty of opportunities for you to join in.

In Christ,
Pastor Kyle

Rock Missions Trip Meeting

As we prepare for our trip to the Rock Ministries this August, we will gather to begin praying for the journey and discuss the details. Anyone interested in joining the trip or who has already signed up is kindly requested to attend this meeting at 12 pm, July 5th, after our Sunday morning service.

Marrieds Ministry

Join us Friday, July 10, at 7:00pm for our Marrieds Ministry Gathering. This ministry exists for married and engaged couples who want to build strong, Christ-centered marriages that reflect God’s love and principles. We meet quarterly to eat, receive practical teaching and encourage each other. This gathering will be a taco night, the main dishes will be provided, but we kindly request that each couple bring a side dish. Options include beans, rice, chips, salsa, salad, and drinks. RSVP HERE.

To stay connected on future gathering, join our Married’s Ministry Group on our church app HERE.

Operation Christmas Child Collection

We're excited to kick off our Operation Christmas Child "item of the month" collection again this year. Each month, we'll invite you to purchase a specific item and bring it to church to help fill shoeboxes at our church packing party in November.
July's focus is personal care items - items like combs/brushes, toothbrushes, nail clippers/files, band-aids, wash cloths and water bottles (remember no soap). You can drop donated items in the marked bins at the back of the church.

Next Steps

In the New Testament we see the church described as a body, each member of the church has an important role to fill that benefits the rest of the church. There are many ways to give of your time to serve God within the fellowship, opportunities for every level of ability.
Click the "Sign Up to Serve'" link to check out some of the current areas and have a pastor or leader contact you.

Want to Be Baptized?

Jesus instructs his disciples to go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). Baptism serves as a public declaration of one’s faith in Jesus. It signifies that our sins have been forgiven through Jesus’ death, our adoption as God’s children, and our commitment to follow Jesus in newness of life.

If you’re new to following Jesus or haven’t been baptized yet, we’d be delighted to meet with you and invite you to join us for our next baptism
