  • Church Potluck — First Sunday of the Month

Following our Sunday morning service, join us down in our fellowship hall for a time of food and fellowship with one another. This is a great time to develop relationships with each other and share what God is doing in our lives. We encourage attendees to bring a main and side or dessert to share.

  • Operation Christmas Child Collection — Monthly

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, bringing joy and the message of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. This is a ministry we continue to partner with every year.

Donate the Item of the Month: Each month, we’ll highlight a specific item that you can contribute. If you’d like to participate, simply purchase and drop off the donated item in the large totes located in the back of the sanctuary.

July’s Item of the Month:  TOYS — This month, we're collecting small toys like balls, cars, building blocks or Legos, slinkies, yo-yos, plastic animals, magnets, and finger puppets. Drop off your donations in the OCC bin at the back of the church and be a part of sharing God’s love with children around the world.

Church bible reading calendar

Robert Murray, M’Cheyne (1842), once said “It has long been in my mind to prepare a scheme of scripture reading, in which as many as were made willing by God might agree, so that the whole Bible might be read once by you in the year, and all might be feeding in the same portion of the green pasture at the same time.”

We as a church utilize this bible reading calendar, put together by Robert Murray M'Cheyne, as a means or growing closer to the Lord through diligent personal bible reading and growing closer to one another, as we are all reading along in the same passage(s) of scripture each day.

Calvay Chapel Distinctives

By Chuck Smith

What makes Calvary Chapel different from other Bible-believing, evangelical churches? Certainly there are churches that share many of our beliefs and practices. We’re not renegades. But God has done a wonderful work of balance in the Calvary Chapel movement that makes us different in many areas.

In Calvary Chapel, we find the teaching of the Word and an open heart to the work of the Holy Spirit. It is this balance that makes us a distinct and uniquely blessed movement of God. And so it’s important to understand the biblical principles behind why God has allowed us to exist and grow.

This is not to say that all Calvary Chapels are identical. God, desiring to reach and bless all kinds of people, seems to enjoy having a wide variety of churches so that everybody’s needs might be met—from the highly emotional to the very formal, and all those in between. Each of us has a part to play in God’s plan, but we all need to know where we fit in this wide spectrum. That is why it’s crucial for us to grasp what we call the Calvary Chapel Distinctives. As we see what makes our fellowship unique, we will also better understand our position in the Body of Christ.
