RESUMING SERVICES @ CCF

As many of you know, there is much concern over COVID19 aka Coronavirus and many precautions are being taken to limit its spread.

We have been looking forward to gathering together again ever since the stay-at-home orders began. So as we move to resume our in-person services, we will need to incorporate some changes for the time being, in order to safely resume. These changes may transition out over time, but we as a church want to conduct our gatherings in love for one another, and respect for the Lord.

Masks

We are asking that masks be worn as you enter and leave the building. while seated for service masks are not required.

Social Distancing

As a church, we are asking if you decide to join us in-person, that you are mindful of your proximity to others. Each person coming into the church is coming from a different place with regards to their concern. We want to be respectful and loving toward one another, and still have church services. We have sectioned off every other pew to provide space between those attending. We will be setting up a section for anyone who thinks they might be at a higher risk. (Please see the FAQ’s for more information)

Any Symptoms

We are asking, if you or anyone in your home is experiencing any symptoms, (cough, runny nose, fever...) that you would not attend until the symptoms are gone, and watch the service from our YouTube channel. We will continue to post links to our live service through the church newsletter and Facebook, and also the audio only version on our church website.

Greeters

We will have greeters at the doors, but they will not be initiating hugs or handshakes. We know that some are not concerned, but we do not want to make someone feel obligated to do so.

Children's Ministry and Youth Ministries

For the first month or so there will be no children's ministry classes. We are inviting the whole family to worship with us in the main sanctuary. We will be providing coloring sheets, clip boards, and bags of crayons for those attending with young children. We ask that your children and youth remain with the parents and not with friends.

Fellowship and Hospitality

We will not be serving any snacks or beverages for the time being. Weather permitting, please fellowship  outside at the front of the church, and at a safe distance. The back yard and play equipment will not be available for the interim.

General Church Cleaning

We have a great group of people that keep our church tidy and ready for services, but moving forward we are looking for others who may wish to help in the frequent sanitizing of the church. If you are interested, please email us. We will wipe down contact points with disinfectant wipes or spray. (Before and after each service) We will also make available hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the building.
