Five + Two FOOD ministry

Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.  Matthew 14:19

As Jesus looked out at the multitudes and saw their need, He asked His  disciples to feed them. He asked them this knowing they had no resources to carry out this task. With the five loaves and two fish donated to the Lord, Jesus blessed and broke it, gave it to the disciples to distribute, feeding over five thousand people.

The 5&2 Food Ministry exists to help those in need. We have basic shelf stable foods and basic hygiene items available to help individuals and families. All food we receive has been donated by those in the church.

If you would like to donate any foods please download our shopping list HERE or pick up a list in the church foyer.

Bread of Life

Our church is blessed to be a weekly recipient of bread from a local grocery store. Every Saturday, after our corporate prayer meeting, we set up in front of the church to distribute bread for free to the community. We seek to minister to the physical needs of those that come by providing bread and sometimes food from our food pantry. As well as offering prayer to meet their spiritual needs.

Join us on Saturday mornings at 9am in the church parking lot.

World Missions

Below are the missionaries that we prayerfully and financially support. Consider how you might come alongside them through prayer or through a financial gift.

David & Hannah Mora

La Lima, Honduras

David and Hannah both grew up in Christian homes and accepted Jesus Christ as Savior at an early age.  After graduating from high school, they both attended a one year Bible program at Word of Life Bible Institute in FL in 2005.  Next, they attended and graduated with Bachelor degrees from Piedmont International University in Winston-Salem, NC. David graduated with a major in Bible, Aviation, and minor in Missions. Hannah graduated with two degrees in Elementary Education from Piedmont and High Point University.  They were married on December 12, 2009. While in the U.S., Hannah worked as an Elementary teacher for 7 years teaching kindergarten, third, and fourth grade. David served as a missionary pilot/mechanic during their time in the U.S. They have enjoyed serving faithfully each year in the local church.

After years of serving in ministry in the U.S. they answered the call to foreign missions and moved to Honduras in January 2016.  They attended Spanish language school in La Ceiba, Honduras.  Their son, Nicholas, was born in La Ceiba on April 5th, 2016.  Ten days later, their family moved to the jungle and served in the village of Rus Rus near the Nicaraguan border.  David and Hannah are now relocating to serve in San Pedro Sula, Honduras with SCORE.  There, they will serve as apprentice missionaries under the guidance of the Hansen family.  The Moras have a heart and passion for evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.

Kefas & Tina Momoh

Lagos, Nigeria

Kefas met Pastor Gregg and Cathy while they were missionaries in Swansea, Wales. Rededicating his life to the Lord, Kefas was discipled by Pastor Gregg and his heart stirred for ministry. After a few years of living in Wales, the Lord closed the door for Kefas to remain in the UK so he returned to Lagos, Nigeria with the burden for his own people and to start a Calvary Chapel. Not too long after is his move back to Nigeria, Kefas met Tina and they were married. Kefas and Tina now have two young children, Osose (3) and Osehi (1), who's names both mean "dedicated to God". Kefas's heart is to reach the hearts of his people with the good news of the gospel. Tina has a ministry to the women each Wednesday night.

Mission Trips

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," - Matthew 28:19

These were Jesus' departing words to the disciples as they watched their risen Savior ascend up to heaven. The same command still stands for all that have believed in Jesus all these years later. We believe that the church should be playing an active role in this great commission not only in our daily lives but by going out into the next city, the next state, and the next country. We see the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts sending followers of Jesus out and about to reach people with the good news of the gospel. Below are current opportunities to "go therefore..."
